Milk and Butter LLC Donates $10,995 to Its Partnered Charities

On January 17th, Milk and Butter LLC made its first charitable donation since the migration to the new and improved Milk and Butter token. In total $10,995 was donated to the non-profits partnered with Milk and Butter LLC. Good360, Action Against Hunger, and Food For Life Global each received $3,665. The first donation of the year was divided evenly among the three partnered charities. Normally, token holders vote on how they want the accrued donations to be allocated.

In response to the donation, Action Against Hunger tweeted: “Thank you @milkbuttertoken! We look forward to working together in 2022 in the fight to end hunger.”

Food For Life Global thanked Milk and Butter via Twitter as well stating, “@milkbuttertoken has changed the lives of hundreds of thousands of people with just a click of a button. Their last donation will enable our charity to serve 7,200 freshly cooked meals.” Co-founder Paul Turner has also certified Milk and Butter LLC with OMGuarantee. This means that every donation to Food For Life Global is measurable. So far 455,737 children in need have been fed due to donations from Milk and Butter LLC.

$500,000 has been donated to charity since Milk and Butter LLC’s launch on 3/30/21. The token works by utilizing a fee on every transaction. A portion of that fee is sent to the “Charity Wallet” where holders can then vote on the allocation of funds to partnered non-profits Food for Life Global, Action Against Hunger and Good360.
