Milk and Butter LLC’s community votes were collected and the donation was distributed accordingly on 8/9. The total donation pool accumulated was $2,649 which was then given to Milk and Butter’s three partners. The percentage of funds given to each charity are based on the percentage of community votes each charity receives. The individual donations were $1,556 for Good360, $763 for Food for Life Global, and $330 for Action Against Hunger.

Action Against Hunger’s Managing Director of Corporate Partnerships Aron Flasher says, “We are so grateful for the support of the Milk Token community. Together we are helping to create a world without hunger, for everyone, for good.”

The recent donation to Milk and Butter LLC’s newest partner Good360 has raised the total contribution to $1,863 in just a few short weeks.

“We appreciate the support from the Milk and Butter community of investors who want to help us close the need gap through their passion for cryptocurrency,” said Shari Rudolph, chief development officer and chief marketing officer of Good360. “As the global leader in product philanthropy and purposeful giving, being an early adopter of cryptocurrency donations in the nonprofit industry creates a new and exciting way to positively impact people in need.”

Rudolph and Good360’s Marketing Manager Justin Clark were both featured in Milk and Butter LLC’s recent live AMA which occurs every Sunday. More information on Good360 can be found on their website or the recording of the AMA.

This was the second guest-focused AMA in a row with the Co-Founder of Food For Life Global Paul Turner being featured in the previous week.

“Once again the $Butter token has come through with the goods, enabling Food for Life Global to feed 4076 children in need a fresh cooked vegan meal. We are so proud to be partnered with this charity token,” said Turner.

This week CEO and Lead Developer of Milk and Butter LLC Christian Claypool continued expansion of the DApp dashboard, the new central hub for all Milk and Butter applications. The Churn page has now been moved over to DApp allowing for a more user friendly experience for those staking their $Milk tokens in order to churn $Butter. This has been a popular way for token holders to earn passive income.

Claypool says, “Now that the churn has been added to our new DApp dashboard. I’m going to be spending a lot of time this week cleaning up some things on that dashboard regarding presentation and neatness as well as creating an equal experience for mobile and desktop users. Once these quality of life changes have been implemented, I’ll work on integrating several different ideas and improvements ranging from NFT categories, search, NFT voting and rating and web3 independent page visibility. Now that all of our core functionality is present on the dashboard, we can really begin to dive deep into delivering a comfortable experience for all Milk and Butter users”.

$460,000 has been donated to charity since $Butter token’s launch on 4/4/21. The token works by utilizing a fee on every transaction. A portion of that fee is sent to the “Charity Wallet” where investors can then vote on which charity receives the funds. A percentage of every donation goes to Butter Token’s partners Food for Life Global, Action Against Hunger and Good360. The remainder of the funds are donated to the winning charity.
